Concrete Dispatcher & Batchers

A concrete dispatcher schedule pours and handle calls. They provide customer service. They solve problems. Concrete dispatchers are an invaluable human resource for any ready mixed concrete operation.

In your new role with us, you will: 

• Run the batching plant and manage all concrete through MPAQ Batch Software, in accordance with specification to meet quality standards
• Manage stock through the ordering of Cements and Aggregates
• Adhere to all standard operating procedures
• Be responsible for accepting orders for concrete and to batch as required
• Inform drivers on mix requirements and oversee the dispatching / scheduling of the ready-mix trucks
• Liaison between the customer and driver to ensure customer satisfaction
• Grease plant, minor maintenance and other duties as assigned by the manager and schedule plant repairs
• Co-ordinate repair and calibration of plant equipment
• Supervise day to day activities of a concrete plant
• Be experienced in the operation of a front-end loader

Requirements: 

• Previous experience is an asset in a similar role of Concrete Plant Operations
• Are a highly motivated team player who can multi-task and make quick effective decisions under pressure
• Have good communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with customers and suppliers.
• Supervisory skills
• Flexibility and initiative are essential for this demanding and rewarding position.
